Prayer
Prayer is a vital way we connect with God and others. At Living Word you can experience prayer with others, for others (intercessory prayer), as well as on your own. No matter how much or how little experience you have with prayer, there are ways to grow in your prayer life and serve others through prayer.
Corporate Prayer is our weekly prayer gathering where we pray for the needs of our church family, our missionaries, our community, and our nation.
Intercessory prayer: You’re invited to come pray in the Worship Center on Wednesdays, anytime from noon to 2:00 pm. There’s no agenda except to pray as the Holy Spirit leads you.
If you need prayer, call our church office during office hours and someone will be happy to pray with you. After hours, call extension 1600 to leave a message on our prayer line.

Healing & soaking
The Healing and Soaking Rooms of Montgomery County is a ministry dedicated to praying for physical, emotional, and spiritual healing by the power of God in the name of Jesus Christ. The ministry doors are open for anyone to come and be ministered to. Our desire is for each person who comes to experience the presence of God as they enter into complete healing and restoration in accordance with Matthew 10:1 and 8.
Stephen Ministry & counseling
We all experience challenges in life - times when we could benefit from care and support. Stephen Ministers can provide the emotional and spiritual care we need when faced with a crisis or difficulty such as loss of a loved one, hospitalization, divorce or separation, loneliness or discouragement, spiritual crisis, unemployment, terminal illness, incarceration, aging, birth, adoption, miscarriage, infertility, chronic illness, relocation, recovery after accident or illness, or any other life challenges.
Celebrate recovery
Celebrate Recovery (CR) is a Christ-centered 12-step program that helps people address their hurts, hang-ups, and habits. We provide a warm, inviting and safe environment for people to celebrate recovery!
CR is made up of everyday people who are on a journey toward wholeness, seeking recovery from and celebrating God's healing of life's hurts, habits and hang-ups. Trained leaders provide safe, confidential, Christ-centered groups where people can grow. They offer their stories as fellow travelers on the journey to healing.

Food bank
Our Foodbank imparts love and care to the people we serve who are in need, by nourishing relationships, imparting the word, praying in Christ, and distributing food. The food pantry is sustained and supplied by volunteers giving their time, non-perishable food contributions, and financial gifts from the congregants.
Placing faith in action, fulfilling the mandate of Christ, as we do unto the least of these, we do unto The Lord.
Non-perishable food donations are received in the church Atrium on the second last Sunday of each month.

Care Team
Our Care Team provides support to our community in a variety of ways including washing windows, baking, yard work, photography, transportation, or cooking a meal. The purpose of this team is to use your creative gifting to meet an unusual need. If you have a skill, we can use it!
Mercy TEams
Our Mercy Team members are adept at organizing care and walking alongside people during medical crisis, life crisis (such as death of a loved one), addiction, becoming homebound, loss of employment, and emotional or financial distress. Mercy Team members have experienced crisis themselves and are passionate about sharing God’s grace and hope. The care we provide can take the form of prayer, visits, meals, transportation, and other benevolence assistance.
