If you are someone who is administrative and loves taking things from inspiration (vision) to application (function) with practical step-by-step plans then we need you!
Care Team
Are you great at yard work? Do you have availability to transport things from place to place? Do you enjoy handy work or even cooking a meal? Then we can use your skills and talents on our Care Teams. Members of our Care Teams provide support to our community in a variety of ways using the skills and resources they already possess.
Communications
There are several roles available to assist with the external and internal communication of our church. From photography and videography, to social media & graphics, to hosts and personalities, we have a place for your gifts.
Facilities
The facilities team members work with the Facilities staff to maintain the Living Word Church property by performing routine building and grounds maintenance.
First Impressions
Greet guests with a smile as they enter through the doors at Living Word. Team members also help direct church attenders as needed, answer questions, and welcome newcomers.
Food Bank
Serve the community in a practical way by helping organize and volunteering with the Food Bank.
Health Ministry
Are you a medical professional? Serve as an on-call nurse/ doctor/EMT for emergencies during the church gatherings and events.
Hospitality
Help organize food, drinks, and decor for special events and our Wednesday mid-week service.
J1:9 Youth
Be a part of discipling the next generation by walking alongside a group of middle or high school students.
LW Kids
Come serve our fun, exciting kids ministry! Teach classes, play with kids, lead a small group, help with check-in, lead worship, run production, help with set up/take down, and be a part of fun special events.
Mercy Teams
Mercy Team members are adept at organizing care and walking alongside people during medical crisis, life crisis (such as death of a loved one), and emotional or financial distress. Mercy Team members have often experienced crisis themselves and are passionate about sharing God’s grace and hope. The care we provide can take the form of prayer, visits, meals, transportation, and other benevolence assistance.
Parking
Be everyone’s favorite person on a Sunday morning by managing traffic and parking.
Prayer & Altar
Serve during the Sunday morning service and throughout the week through prayer.
Production
The production team has several roles including projection, camera operators, stage hands, and mixing sound. Each position ranges in the technical skills needed (from none to some experience required), however there is always room for anyone to learn.
Special Events
Assist with seasonal decorating, Christmas/Easter setup, and helping plan and run church-wide events.
Sunday Serve
Assist with preparing and serving communion and collecting offering during our Sunday morning service and sometimes special events.
Translation

Ushers
Welcome guests as they enter the Worship Center by assisting them with seating, distributing church handouts, and more.
Worship Team
The Worship Team is always looking to add vocalists and instrumentalists who have a musical gift and a heart for leading people to bring glory to God. We also occasionally have creative opportunities for drama, visual arts, and dance. Please note that roles on the Worship Team require going through an audition process.
